Medacta’s core philosophy is based on the belief that innovation is the key to success. The company consistently strives to develop and deliver cutting edge solutions for Orthopaedics. The MyShoulder systems is one of these solutions, allowing a surgeon to realize the pre-operative 3D planning and deliver accurate implant plancement using CT based 3D printed cutting and pin guides. This innovative product delivers benefits to both the surgeon and to the patient. MyShoulder consists of 3D pre-operative planning and patient-specific guides, and has been developed following the success of Medacta Patient Matched Technology.
Accurate implant positioning and sizing
Complete 3D preoperative planning
Complete in-house technology: the MyShoulder process is performed entirely by Medacta
A personal MyShoulder technician
Only 3 weeks lead time
Medacta receives the CT images of the patient‘s shoulder.
Starting from the 3D reconstruction of the joint and following the surgeon preferences, the MyShoulder preoperative planning is performed.
A virtual positioning of the implants is proposed, with the ability for the surgeon to modify the planning as required.
Once the surgeon has validated the planning, the in-house manufacturing process starts.
