The AMIStem is the first stem specifically designed for the AMIS^® approach (Anterior Minimally Invasive Surgery) and it has been developed to facilitate the broaching and stem introduction without compromising the implant stability. Based on the clinical experience of straight rectangular cementless stems^[1,2,3,4], the AMIStem incorporates features which simplify the AMIS^® approach.
