MEDACTA^® International S.A. owns a property where it’s administrative, technical and production facilities are located and where more than 150 employees work, 80 employees work in 9 branches in the world.

Research and development
The R&D is divided into three main areas, a Hip Team, a Knee Team and a CAS Team and are under the direction of the R&D Director and the Medical Director. During one year 30.000 working hours are entirely dedicated to the research and development of new products.

Our current research embraces different areas:

• Navigation
• Hip and Knee prosthetic range extension
• Research in different quality aspects of polyethylene.
• Minimally Invasive surgery techniques for Hip and Knee

Production
Our production facility currently produces around 160.000 components per year.
