Lugano – The 2009 award for Best Business of the Italian part of Switzerland, presented by Swiss Venture, an organisation focusing on the increase of innovative business ventures within the territory, has been awarded to Medacta International SA, headed by Alberto Siccardi, for their actives in the field of Orthopaedic implants.
Guests that evening, in the Congress Palace of Lugano, were the deputy mayor Mr. Erasmo Pelli, who was representing the city, and Ms. Laura Sadis, State Councilman and director of finance and economics department. Guest of Honour was Mr. Franco Bernabè, Managing Director of Telecom Italia.
The prize was awarded by Mr. Alberto Petruzzella, head of Credit Suisse in the Ticino Region and president of the organizational committee.
