Presented in Lugano in front of more than 1000 participants, Dr. Alberto Siccardi, Founder and President of Medacta® International SA, Castel San Pietro, received the prestigious prize from Mr. Hans-Ulrich Müller, President of Swiss Venture Club (SVC).
This important award acknowledges the successful growth of Medacta® within the global orthopaedic market, which is largely dominated by American companies. Medacta® is a family company created in 2000 developing, manufacturing and distributing joint replacement devices in more than 20 countries worldwide. In 2008, more than 22'000 patients have had successful operations for the hip or the knee with Medacta® products.
